The Reverend Mother Michelle Roach (Priest In-Charge)
Rev. Michelle Roach was born on the Island of Barbados to parents who are devout Anglicans. She spent most of her life involved in church activities.
Michelle migrated to the United States in August 1984, living first in New York City and years later relocated to Orlando, Florida. She is married to Michael and they have one son, Brandon.
Michelle attended Barry University for her undergraduate studies. While at Barry University, she pursued a Bachelor of Professional Studies specializing in Human Resources. Prior to her call to ministry, Michelle worked for Marriott Corporation for over 23 years. Her career started in Reservations and then moved into Human Resources and Payroll.
Michelle first attended The Institute for Christian Studies in Orlando, Florida. Six months into the courses at ICS, she made the decision to enroll at Asbury Theological Seminary to pursue a Master of Divinity degree. Two years later, Michelle transferred to Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia where she graduated with a Master of Divinity degree. Mother Michelle as she likes to be called, is passionate about her walk with Jesus Christ and encourages others to develop their relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ. Currently Mother Michelle is a board member for Canterbury Retreat and Conference Center as well as the Diocesan Commission on Ministry. She has recently served as spiritual director for the Women’s Cursillo. Her varied interests include baking, music, cultural events and family gatherings.
